To obtain your marriage licnese in Jackson County, you can go to:

Hours are: 8:30 am to 11:15 am and 12:30 pm to 4:00 pm. When obtaining your marriage license they want you to arrive no later than 3:30 pm.

You must be at least 18 years old.

The license is good for 60 days (sixty days) after purchase.

The marriage license is $55.00 cash and there is a 3 (three) calander day waiting period before you can be married. If you need a waiver in order to not have to wait the 3 days, there is a $16.00 waiver fee. Contact Courthouse for more information.

Note: Your marriage license, once the marriage is performed, must be returned to the same Courthouse in which it is purchased. Do not let your marriage license fall into the wrong hands! It has so much personal information on it, it wouldn't take much for someone to use it in order to steal your identity!

If you obtain your license from any place other than the Jackson County Courthouse and retain me as your officiant, you'll need to get an addressed envelope from that Courthouse and put a stamp on it. Thank You
